I am a NATIVE Spanish speaker, from Spain. I’ve been working as a freelance translator since 2006. I am fluent in English and Portuguese and have an extensive knowledge of IT, technology, finance, economics, business, games and marketing, fields I worked in for more than 12 years. As a translator, I have been working on multiple projects for multinationals such IBM and Telefonica. On a daily basis, I translate websites, landing pages, softwares, documents, emails, banners, blogs, contracts, etc. I got my degree in Economics and Business Administration by the University of Valladolid (Spain) back in 2002. I hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration by the Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, one of the most prominent Universities in Spain. I´m a Colombian expat currently living and studying International Relations and business at Kazan (Volga region) Federal University in Kazan, Rep. of Tatarstan. Russia. I speak fluently English and Russian + my native Spanish. My interests are Political and Economical affairs, linguistics and second language acquisition, Sociology and all that concerns Human Sciences. I've been working as a translator and interpreter for more than 25 years and I've acquired a lot of experience in various fields such as legal, engineering, information technology, power plants, oil&gas, etc. However, I'm far from resting on my laurels since I understand very well that the languages are dynamic and the world is constantly changing, so I'm in the constant pursuit of new skills and knowledge that'd help me to stay up-to-date and do my job in the most efficient and precise manner.

I am a Journalist with a strong determination and attention to detail in terms of writing and translating from English to Spanish and vice versa. I enjoy translation jobs as I like to find the best and more accurate expressions and words to precisely explain what is written in another language. Studying Spanish and English since I was a child and living and working in both cultures made me polish both languages until I could use them indistinctly in a professional manner. Since I have been translating and editing texts since 2017, I have the confidence to undertake large technical, scientific and informal projects and deliver them within the arranged deadline. I am a translator currently living in Mexico City. I might not have too much professional experience, however, since the beginning of my education, I have tried to attend as many workshops, courses and forums regarding subjects such as legal, engineering, pharmaceutical, tourism and video game translation. Therefore, I possess a wide variety of knowledge regarding these topics. In addition to my bachelors in Translation and Gastronomy, I am a former student of Chemical Engineering.

Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy.
