I am an English-into-Spanish translator based in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with a four-year university degree in Translation Studies and a postgraduate course in Copyediting of Spanish Texts. I am also licensed by the Association of Sworn Translators of the City of Buenos Aires (CTPCBA). For nearly eight years I have been working as a freelance translator providing EN>ES translation, localization, proofreading and editing services to individual clients, companies, and translation agencies all around the world. I am specialized in Healthcare and Medicine, Medical Instruments, Business, Marketing, but also worked in other fields. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Certified Legal Translation, from the University of the Republic (Uruguay). I graduated in 2013. I have been working as a translator since 2011, both in-house and (mostly) freelance.

Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy. My interest in language has led me to translation, in which I have worked these years having completed translations in areas as diverse as cooking, industry, sports betting, medicine, documentation, among others.

My name is Germán and I am a native and bilingual Catalan/Castilian Spanish speaker. As a freelancer, I provide services in two main areas: - Translation English to Spanish, English to Catalan, Spanish to Catalan and Catalan to Spanish. - Proofreading Spanish and Catalan texts. I enjoy translation jobs as I like to find the best and more accurate expressions and words to precisely explain what is written in another language. Studying Spanish and English since I was a child and living and working in both cultures made me polish both languages until I could use them indistinctly in a professional manner. Since I have been translating and editing texts since 2017, I have the confidence to undertake large technical, scientific and informal projects and deliver them within the arranged deadline.
