Hi, my name is Andrés and I am a professional translator. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the Central University of Venezuela and an AD in Computer Programming from Belgrano University. I started my journey as a freelancer back in 2012, and since then I have been collaborating with agencies and direct clients mostly from the US and Europe. My native language is Spanish from Venezuela, but most of my work has been focused on US and neutral Spanish and targeted to US and Latin American audiences. My main field of expertise is information technology, although I have also been involved in many projects related to other fields, mostly human resources and health care. I have a University Degree in Spanish Language and Literature from University of Buenos Aires and over the past 15 years I have been providing my translation and proofreading services to different agencies and clients. I have become increasingly specialized in a the areas of Literature, Education (mathematical and literary translations) and Technical (machine manuals and user guides).

I enjoy translation for many reasons. I have always had an interest in foreign languages and cultures, so it is a pleasure for me to have the opportunity to work with them.
