I am a Romanian native speaker and have been working as a translator and proofreader for more than 10 years. I mostly translate contracts, legal documents, marketing, IT and fashion related content. I am also an expert in transcreation and localisation, making sure that ideas and words are translated naturally. I am prompt and always deliver on time, with an eye for detail.

I am a Romanian native speaker with many years of experience in translations. Over the years, I developed strong abilities in translation and proofreading in various fields. I am self-motivated, reliable, hard-working person who is able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines and have good communication skills.

I have a batcelor degree in IT Engineering.

All my courses and exams at the University were in English so I've been working as a technical translator after the graduation. I also had other jobs but the higher-education in English made me settle as a freelance technical translator.

Translations

After working for several years for different translation companies, as secondary job, offering translations services from English into Romanian, as well as from Romanian into English, mainly technical documents, I decided to offer my services as a freelance translator in Smartcat, as well. Some of the major companies for which I translated different types of documents I can name Kraft Jacobs Suchard, GlaxoSmithKline, Dexion, Kärcher, among sporadic jobs for Romanian companies. You will not be able to find any samples of my work, other than the standard Smartcat sample document, since I have never asked acceptance from my customers to use parts of the translated documents for personal purposes. However, if you consider this a prerequisite for a future collaboration, I would be glad to offer you a free of charge translation of a page from a document of your choice. Aerospace Structures engineer with a focus on programming and a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Received a translator's diploma from the Ministry of Culture in 2020, with 9.12 / 9.25 points out of 10 for English-Romanian / Romanian-English literary translation.
