I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. I own a Certificate in engineering translation from Russian to Romanian and from Romanian to Russian. But I had enlarged my knowledge domains. I am a detail-oriented and conscientious self-starter, able to accomplish the committed task. I have also the ability to communicate with people, and of course with my clients. I also translate engineering materials from English to Russian.

All my courses and exams at the University were in English so I've been working as a technical translator after the graduation. I also had other jobs but the higher-education in English made me settle as a freelance technical translator.

After working for several years for different translation companies, as secondary job, offering translations services from English into Romanian, as well as from Romanian into English, mainly technical documents, I decided to offer my services as a freelance translator in Smartcat, as well. Some of the major companies for which I translated different types of documents I can name Kraft Jacobs Suchard, GlaxoSmithKline, Dexion, Kärcher, among sporadic jobs for Romanian companies. You will not be able to find any samples of my work, other than the standard Smartcat sample document, since I have never asked acceptance from my customers to use parts of the translated documents for personal purposes.
