After working for several years for different translation companies, as secondary job, offering translations services from English into Romanian, as well as from Romanian into English, mainly technical documents, I decided to offer my services as a freelance translator in Smartcat, as well. Some of the major companies for which I translated different types of documents I can name Kraft Jacobs Suchard, GlaxoSmithKline, Dexion, Kärcher, among sporadic jobs for Romanian companies. You will not be able to find any samples of my work, other than the standard Smartcat sample document, since I have never asked acceptance from my customers to use parts of the translated documents for personal purposes. However, if you consider this a prerequisite for a future collaboration, I would be glad to offer you a free of charge translation of a page from a document of your choice. I am a certified translator, in love with English language. I have a very vast experience in fields such as: medical, legal, educational, IT etc. I am available to work 10 hours/day, in weekends and holidays.

All my courses and exams at the University were in English so I've been working as a technical translator after the graduation. I also had other jobs but the higher-education in English made me settle as a freelance technical translator.

I am a Romanian native speaker and have been working as a translator and proofreader for more than 10 years. I mostly translate contracts, legal documents, marketing, IT and fashion related content. I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. For the past 15 years, in the course of my work I have translated notary documents, court documents, legal documents, technical manuals and non-specialist documents to and from English, German and Romanian. I am a native Romanian speaker. Being born, raised and educated in Timisoara, Romania, I have a full knowledge about my mother tongue as well as the subtle language meanings of the text I translate. Through the jobs I have held, I have acquired knowledge and terminology in numerous fields. My production on a daily basis ranges from 2000 to 2500 words per day, depending on the difficulties presented by the text to be translated and my fees are available upon request.
