I am a Romanian native speaker and have been working as a translator and proofreader for more than 10 years. I mostly translate contracts, legal documents, marketing, IT and fashion related content. I am also an expert in transcreation and localisation, making sure that ideas and words are translated naturally. I am prompt and always deliver on time, with an eye for detail.

I own a Certificate in engineering translation from Russian to Romanian and from Romanian to Russian. But I had enlarged my knowledge domains. I am a detail-oriented and conscientious self-starter, able to accomplish the committed task. I have also the ability to communicate with people, and of course with my clients. I also translate engineering materials from English to Russian.

Aerospace Structures engineer with a focus on programming and a PhD in Computational Fluid Dynamics. Received a translator's diploma from the Ministry of Culture in 2020, with 9.12 / 9.25 points out of 10 for English-Romanian / Romanian-English literary translation. I have worked with texts from a variety of fields, including content for several websites, mobile app interfaces, video subtitles (predominantly English to Romanian), short stories and a historical fiction novel (Romanian to English).

I've entered the field of translation in 2016 after being involved in other activities after finishing my masters in Translation studies. So, it was somehow going back to my first love. Since that moment translating has become my main activity, working as a freelance translator with agencies and private clients ever since. In this globalized world, when connections are very important in every field, whether we talk about business, travel, private life or medical issue, I feel that translators are that bridge that allow people to get where they need or where they want. The diversity of documents and fields that I have the opportunity to work with as a translator make me appreciate the challenges and enrich my knowledge. All my courses and exams at the University were in English so I've been working as a technical translator after the graduation. I also had other jobs but the higher-education in English made me settle as a freelance technical translator.

I am Romanian and Italian and I have studied English and Spanish at the University oy Pisa and University of Bologna. I have also lived, studied and worked abroad in 2009-2010 in Valencia with the Erasmus Programme at the University of Valencia.
