Thank you for taking a look at my profile. I’m an experienced translator for the pairs EN>PT-BR and ES>PT-BR, with many translation projects done. I'm a post-graduation professor and former IBM consultant, Brazilian, living in the metropolitan area of São Paulo. As a certified translator for the pair English into Brazilian Portuguese, I’m interested in new opportunities and starting long-term relationships. The fields I have done translation work include scientific articles, telecom, websites, ERP, legal, marketing, petroleum, engineering, technical manual, IT, software localization, HR, and other subjects. My current clients include Trip.com, LinkedIn, MasterCard, and Microsoft. I hold four degrees in Business Administration, a BA, two Master's degrees, and a doctorate from The University of Liverpool.

That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I am native Portuguese with excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills and I have almost as great skills in English. My brain is definitely bilingual. I have been a freelance Professional Translator since 2013, specializing in Business, Marketing and Social Sciences. However, I have also performed successful translations in many other different fields, such as website and app contents, legal contracts, technical manuals, automotive systems, coaching materials, among others. I am very detail and quality oriented. Before that, I was an Administrative Assistant for over 5 years. I translated some website articles as a volunteer (since 2010) and I worked for an import/export company where I was responsible for all external communications (English/Spanish). I also performed some translation work in one of the companies I worked in. I use SDL Trados 2011, but I always check my translations, sentence by sentence, for grammar, meaning and vocabulary use - no automatic translations! I am also very proficient in manual translations, which many clients demand in order to attain better quality.
