I currently work as a Junior Export Manager, therefore I am familiar with market-related documents. In addition, I am about to complete a professional course in legal and commercial translation with the language pairs EN>IT, RU>IT. I am professional, friendly and extremely helpful. As an English to Italian ProZ.com Certified PRO Network gaming, technical, and marketing translator (EN 15038) and Italian native speaker, I have been translating on a volunteer basis since 2012 (working on big projects since 2016) and professionally since 2020. I have experience in handling localization processes as a whole for text-heavy video games, as a translator (transcreation, proofreading, photo editing), LQE specialist, LQA tester, and localization project manager (file preparation, regex tagging, developer relations). 2,500,000 words translated, with a daily output of 4,500 words.

In all my career as an employee I have been involved in translation projects. Since 2011 I started working as a freelance translator and interpreter. I'm a linguistics-enthusiast italian guy who completed his bachelor degree in translation at the University of Genoa, Italy. The languages I have studied are English and Russian, but I can also speak a little Spanish and a little Polish. I truly love experiencing and analyzing foreign cultures, reason why I have spent a considerable amount of time abroad considering my young age: I have lived in Russia for 1 month, in Poland for 5 months and in Australia for 15 months.

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. I am able to translate very technical texts, like instruction manuals for X-ray inspection systems, but also to use my creative side to produce translations of content marketing articles.
