So far, I've mainly dealt with the translation of website contents, medicine-related documents, technical material, and so forth. I am an Italian national, and a PhD graduate from the University of Edinburgh in the UK. I work day-to-day with technology and I have been in the translation business since 2010. I'm a reliable and professional person, as my referees can testify (available upon request).

I am a freelance Software/Web Developer and English to Italian Translator. I have translated a wide range of different subjects, including fiction (mainly sci-fi novels), technical texts (mainly IT and electronics), marketing items, company policies and internal memos, websites, etc. I also have about 3 years experience in simultaneous interpretation (from English to Italian) in public events. I perfected my English while living in Florida (3 years) and in Denmark (1 year), and regularly doing translation jobs in addition to my main software/web developer job.

I am a freelance translator, Italian mother tongue. I hold a Master's Degree in Technical Translation and another one in Ecnomics. . I have got a good deal of experience translating technical/marketing texts and software, but also motorsports, cycling and tourism (from English, Spanish, and French into Italian). My average output is about 2200/2500 words/day (up to 3000, if needed, for rush jobs.) I believe in quality: this is why I always deliver thoroughly and double-checked translations, paying deep attention to style and terminology. Also, I translate only into my mother tongue (Italian), in order to ensure the best quality.

I love foreign languages since I was a child, I love traveling to get in touch with different cultures and to broad my horizon. Anywhere I go I always try to learn a few words in the local language to feel like part of local people. I love children’s books, watching TV series and walking in nature. I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.
