Thorsten, the owner/consultant, has over 25 years experience working in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Contract Management and Customer Services for large and small (multi)national/multi-site private and public organisations; such as Philips Electronics NV, Dow Chemicals Ltd, Johnson Matthey Catalysts Plc, Local Government, NHS, Ubisoft, CEVA Logistics, Caterpillar, NSK Europe, Avaya and Teleperformance UK. Born and raised in The Netherlands to a Dutch mother and a German father, languages have always been a part of his life. Growing up in Germany with a bilingual background, I fulfilled my dream at the age of 18 and moved to Szekszárd, where I started working as a volunteer in a kindergarten. After acquiring some basic knowledge of Hungarian, I decided to study early childhood education with a bilingual focus in Hungarian. After working in my profession and after my two older children were born, I started translating for MOZAIK, an internationally recognized publisher of school materials. After acquiring basic translation skills, I passed the state-approved Hungarian and German translation exam at ELTE University in Budapest in 2015.
