When I was 24 I moved to Gent with my Belgian girlfriend. There I graduated with a Master of Science from the University of Ghent (teaching language English). Then I started working for Dutch company as an marketing analyst in the energy market. I have been working as a translator for a number of international agencies and online platforms for more than 9 years now. In addition, I worked as a teacher of French, English and German for about 13 years, preparing students for their A-Levels. I hold an M.A. in English, French and Literature and completed my studies at the University of Osnabrück in December 2011. During my studies, I spent two academic years abroad, namely in Angers (France) and in Montréal (Québec, Canada) and have been to the US a number of times over the years as well. Starting out as an interpreter for a local translation agency in 2013, I have been expanding my collaboration with a number of international agencies and online platforms ever since and completed countless translations for major international companies and SMEs from all over the world.

I've been working as a tutor (English and German) for 3 years and as a translator (freelance) for a year and a half. I fluently speak English and German. I've taken part in different international student exchange programs, particularly in Germany (DAAD Summer courses). I started to translate from time to time in 2018, although I have a business and legal background, I've been always busy with languages and translating beside my job as a tax adviser, later on I managed a German-Taiwanese shipping company, all in English of course.
