My name Ulrich DOUO, I am a qualified translator with a university degree in English, my native language is French (I am from Côte d'Ivoire but living in Ghana - Africa) and I have been working as a freelance translator for the past 10 years. Having specialized in the areas of legal, economic and technical texts, I have gathered substantial experience in these fields. I have been working as a translator since 2018, when I started to attend the Languages and Cultures for Tourism and International Mediation course at the University of Bari. I graduated with the highest grade (110 e lode) and started my specialisation at the University of Turin (a Translation course focusing on literary translation). I work from both English and French and I am fond of literature: novels, poetry, theatre are my highest aims.

I have a 9 years experience, having translated more than a million words all in all in my career, not counting all the translations I do for fun because I just like it !
