I am a certified court translator and interpreter for English, with over 30 years of work experience in translation, proofreading, editing, transcription etc. in English, German, French, Croatian, Bosnian, and Serbian. Over the years I have acquired extensive knowledge of legal, business, marketing, and other terminology. I also have significant experience in the fields of cooking and food, agriculture, kitchen and home appliances, and IT. I am eager to work and provide solutions in a timely and reliable manner, with client satisfaction always being my main goal.

I've always had a passion for languages! Born in France, I grew up speaking French and learning English and German in school from an early age. I also touched on Italian, Spanish and Greek. But ultimately, my career led me to focus on English. I left France at the age of 30, stayed for 2 years in the USA, and have now been living in Canada since 2015. My background is scientific: I have several degrees in the biomedical and life sciences fields, including a Ph.D. in Biotechnology. I have over 10 years of experience in healthcare and research. During that time, I also offered translation services in my field as a secondary part-time activity. As of 2020, I am now a full-time translator English-to-French and French-to-English. My main interests remain in the medical/health sciences field, but I am also interested in a variety of other subjects that are not necessarily science related. I am a professional translator/interpreter from Yekaterinburg, Russia. Free lance experience since 1998 (see details in my CV attached hereto). I mainly work in the field of industry, especially metallurgy, as our region has been developing since the 18th century around metal extraction and metal work. I am able to provide on site translation service as well as translation of any documents supporting your project - from technical data sheets and descriptions to contracts and reports. In 2013, I started translating articles for the Russian Academy of Sciences (the Ural Branch). Since that time, no article has been refused by foreign publishing houses and offices for a poor quality of translation.

I have been working in companies in Hamburg for the past two years as a student assistant. In the last two jobs I had (one at a statistics company and another at an international cooperation NGO) I have been tasked regularly to translate documents from French to English and from English to French. Additionally, I grew up in the bilingual city of Montréal where these two languages are used interchangeably. I did all my elementary and secondary education in French and all my university (first and second cycles) in English.
