As a Translator, Localization Specialist, and a Gamer, I have been playing video games since I was a child and in the localization industry for nearly 8 years and I localized various games on Steam platform such as Subsistence, Dream Stone 2, Naxia etc. While I have an extensive translation background, I can offer extensive knowledge of grammar, orthography, and stylistics of the Turkish-English Language, average daily output of 3,000 words (minimum), flexibility and availability to work on short notice, and wide gaming knowledge in several genres. I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I also completed my M.A. in Comperative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, which contributed my academic and linguistic skills. Following that, I started my Phd at Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Yıldız Technical University in 2017.

My native language is Turkish. I can translate from Turkish to English, Russian, Italian and vice versa.

I study in İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. My department is translation and interpreting. I tend to translate texts about marketing, history, philosophy, art and culture, religions. Furthermore, I make localization and post-editing. I am learning German as a second foreign language (current level: pre-intermediate).
