Hello everybody! My name is Braj. I am working as a freelance translator for the last seven years. Over the years, I have translated a variety of texts in all the major fields, such as medical, technical and legal texts, literary texts, tourist information, web pages, and advertising leaflets. However, my preferred subjects are legal translations, tourism & leisure industry and sales & marketing. I have been translating and editing Italian to English professionally since the end of 2016 and as a hobby for more than a decade. My focus is IT, marketing, retail, software, general business and creative writing. Prior to translating I worked for 20+ years in IT, sales and general management.

I have a M.A. degree in Russian language, literature and linguistics from the University of Arizona, and my translations are read by undergraduate university students across the United States in the pages of _The Russia Reader_ (Duke University Press, 2010). I have also completed three years of German-language study at the University of Arizona. I worked extensively for over four years on the Russian 2014 Winter Olympics Project by translating a variety of documents, ranging from press releases and brochures to technical construction diagrams of the Olympic facilities.
