I've been born to German-speaking Austrian parents but was raised in English-speaking Canada. Due to this fact and to the fact that I competed my Master's in Austria, I am fluent in both languages and am fond of translating from German into English. Since 2000, when I started my translator's career, I've managed to translate millions of words in a great range of fields, from fiction to medicine.

My name is Vanessa Walsh and I'm currently working as a freelance translator and language teacher in Bavaria, Germany. A brief bio: I was born in Belgium and moved to the United States when I was young, hence I was thrown early on into different languages.
