Since starting to work as a translator in March 2016 I have translated and revised over 500,000 words in a broad range of fields, including marketing, technical, automotive, medical, sport and many more. I am committed to producing quality work, forging lasting relationships and constantly improving my skills.

I am a proficient bilingual Spanish to English and French to English translator, proofreader and copy editor and I specialise in marketing, technical, medical and legal texts. Living in Spain for over 10 years has enabled me to perfect my language skills and offer a professional translation, proofreading, and copy-editing service. I also undertake post-editing work. My work includes proofreading and editing translations and work (business and academic) written by non-native English speakers to ensure it reads as accurate and natural English. Through my intense and ongoing language studies I have the skills, both as a translator and interpreter, to present an accurate and contextual form of the source language in the target language. I've been freelance translating while completing my bachelors in Comparative Literature, alongside working on my own translation projects. I have a decent amount of experience translating poetry and other literary sources, which I believe have given me a lot of tools to translate any kind of text -- including marketing, scientific, and so forth. A brief bio: I was born in Belgium and moved to the United States when I was young, hence I was thrown early on into different languages. Today, I speak/read/write in English, Dutch/Flemish, German, French, and Italian. The exchange of information and ideas across linguistic and geographic borders greatly interests me, which is why, I believe, I enjoy translating texts so much. I was lucky enough to travel the world and live in many countries, finishing school in U.A.E. and later attending the university in Greece following a job contract in the USA. My knowledge of languages from the native perspective allows me to translate at top notch quality.
