Hi! I am a Turkish native speaker working as a self-employed localization specialist. As for my skill set, I am actively using Trados, Memoq, Memsource, Polyglot, Lilt, Xbench, and some subtitling tools such as Captionhub, Subtitle Edit, and Amara. I am mainly specializing in IT/software localization, technical translation, website localization, marketing transcreation, and subtitling. I am also translating into English when it comes to academic research and theses, which have been published in local and international magazines on psychology, education, and social sciences. I have a diploma in Translation and Interpretation Studies from one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey, and I have spent 3 months in Canada to enhance my technical competencies upon its completion. I also possess some knowledge of Russian and German, although my expertise lies in English-Turkish and Turkish-English translation.

I have been working with many national and international translation offices on Free Lance Basis particularly in Engineering, Marketing and Business Issues particularly experienced in Contracts, Tender Documents, Marketing Documents (Such as Avon, Hilton websites, bulletins and training documents), Hazardous Materials & Emergency Response Training Files for Ministry of Defense, and also Medical Documents like MSDS, various certificates for medical devices, various types of catheter manuals and some Mechanical Engineering issues such as manuals of some Pumps, Motors, Machines and on many other issues both for translation and proofreading. For editing, I performed many translation check projects for websites of international customers such as Avon, Hilton etc.
