I studied in Russia for 7 years and worked there for 3 years. I worked as a journalist, city guide, translator and interpreter. I translated documental movies for Russian Travel Guide, translated so many political, economical, touristic and sport news in a media language for Turkish news agencies and local Turkish news websites in Russia. I also translated the help section of Yandex.Mail service into Turkish language. Besides all of this, I translated so many personal documents, contracts and government documents. Unfortunately, I am not able to attach these works to my portfolio due to company and personal rights, so I decided to attach my post-secondary education diploma. Having majored in English Translation and Interpreting, I graduated from Abant Izzet Baysal University. I graduated from Translation and Interpreting Studies Department in the year of 2012. As an undergraduate student at Boğaziçi University, I have improved my English speaking skills through the courses. Moreover, I cannot deny the great contribution of my visiting the USA and working there for three months. During my education I worked at different places, such as publishing houses, translation offices so as to gain experiences. Apart from translating legal and business documents for various local and international translation companies as a freelance translator, I have also edited a number of books, stories, poems and other creative texts. I also completed my M.A. in Comperative Literature at Istanbul Bilgi University, which contributed my academic and linguistic skills. Following that, I started my Phd at Translation and Interpreting Studies Department at Yıldız Technical University in 2017.
