My career history is shaped in 4 interrelated periods focused on communication based on mainly content creation, management, and execution in terms of marketing. Highlights of Qualifications: ● 12 years of in-house experience as an editor, transcreation ed., and copywriter in both conventional and digital media, and advertisement agencies. ● Working on localization and publishing projects as a reviewer, proofreader and editor since 2014. ● Specialized in the fields of corporate and brand communication, marketing, arts&culture, lifestyle ● Experienced in working for multinational PR and Advertising agencies and brands.

I have been doing freelance translations from German/English into Turkish since my college education. I have been providing professional translation, proofreading, editing, and transcription services for 6 years now. I have graduated from the Translation and Interpreting Studies Department of Yeditepe University. I'm an experienced English to Turkish translator with a degree in translation and interpreting. I currently work at a game localization and translation company. I am experienced in literary translations, game localization, Amazon/eBay listings, product descriptions, and general translations.

I have been a freelance vendor for various localization projects since 2013, mostly working with SDL, El Turco and Localex. In the mean time I had the chance to work with several Cat and QA tools like: Trados Studio, MemoQ, Wordfast, Smartcat, Memsource, Transistor, Verifika, Apsic Xbench and so on.

I studied in Russia for 7 years and worked there for 3 years. I worked as a journalist, city guide, translator and interpreter. I translated documental movies for Russian Travel Guide, translated so many political, economical, touristic and sport news in a media language for Turkish news agencies and local Turkish news websites in Russia. I also translated the help section of Yandex.Mail service into Turkish language. Besides all of this, I translated so many personal documents, contracts and government documents. Unfortunately, I am not able to attach these works to my portfolio due to company and personal rights, so I decided to attach my post-secondary education diploma.
