I was born in 1998 in İzmir. I am studying Translation and Interpreting at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. I am also doing a minor in psychology. In my education, I'm exposed to many different proffessions that will increase my translation competence and cultural understanding. I am able to use Cat tools. My greatest wish is to be a proffessional translator with high efficiency. I have a diploma in Translation and Interpretation Studies from one of the most prestigious universities in Turkey, and I have spent 3 months in Canada to enhance my technical competencies upon its completion. I have gained technical experience in English-Turkish technology translation for press with major companies such as Nokia, alongside translation for other diverse subjects. I also possess some knowledge of Russian and German, although my expertise lies in English-Turkish and Turkish-English translation.

I have been working with many national and international translation offices on Free Lance Basis particularly in Engineering, Marketing and Business Issues particularly experienced in Contracts, Tender Documents, Marketing Documents (Such as Avon, Hilton websites, bulletins and training documents), Hazardous Materials & Emergency Response Training Files for Ministry of Defense, and also Medical Documents like MSDS, various certificates for medical devices, various types of catheter manuals and some Mechanical Engineering issues such as manuals of some Pumps, Motors, Machines and on many other issues both for translation and proofreading. For editing, I performed many translation check projects for websites of international customers such as Avon, Hilton etc.

Working as localization specialist for major accounts in IT, marketing, ERP, technical and legal since 2015. Before being freelancer, I have worked in company which is exclusive SAP SE localization partner in Turkey. I took part in localization of corporate and legal texts as well as translation processes of the SAP SE systems. Aside from ERP, I have gained experience in IT, marketing and technical texts. During my career, I have also worked as a project manager for 9 months and managed projects for major companies from IT, marketing (mainly tourism and travel) and technical fields.

I am a localization professional. I've worked with major accounts for 7 years. I set out towards Trakya University for my education on Translation and Interpretation. Taking an active role in the efforts of Trakya University Translation Club (TÜÇEV) and The Union of Translation Students (TÜÇEB), I was graduated in 2012. After working as a freelance translator for a while, I had localization training in ES Academy for 1 year. After completing my training, I took part in the translation projects of major software companies as an in-house employee of ES Language Services.Currently I have been working on the projects of major software companies. I have Bachelor's Degree in Translation & Interpreting Studies at Yeditepe University in Istanbul. Since the beginning of my education at this department, I have done many translations in EN > TR and TR > EN language pairs. I did my internship at ES Language Services, which is the first localization company to be established in Turkey and is widely known in localization sector. I have gained experience in website localization, IT texts and some other fields I listed on my profile during my internship and my education. I also translate contents for two magazines in Turkey, Düşünbil and Libido, and a translation newspaper, which can be found on www.ceviriyoruz.org website.
