I am a Technical Support Specialist at one of the leading international IT company. Even so working at IT sector, I graduated from Social Sciences. I also have a MA diploma in same field. I was born in 1998 in İzmir. I am studying Translation and Interpreting at İstanbul 29 Mayıs University. I am also doing a minor in psychology. In my education, I'm exposed to many different proffessions that will increase my translation competence and cultural understanding. I am able to use Cat tools. My greatest wish is to be a proffessional translator with high efficiency. I am confident and reliable in my language skills and i believe that i will be efficient for the role of freelance translator.

As someone with a diverse educational background and having worked in different areas, I have managed to employ my various skill and know-how to translation/editing/review processes. My bilingual education since elementary school, different areas (applied sciences, economics, marketing) of expertise and mostly my passion for anything related to technology has proven very useful, and humbly, distinguishing even. My journey through technology includes software development, hardware enthusiasm, testing bleeding edge features and of course a passion for gaming. Somewhat of a nerd, I live in a world of popular culture references, comic books, science trivia, political discussions, film festivals, progressive rock albums, movie marathons, getting the most of mobile phones, weekend trips for trekking, cycling and lots and lots of reading. I was born in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. During my high school years, I studied English and Arabic for four years. I started to learn Korean language two years before my high school graduation. Now I'm attending to 29 Mayıs University, Interpretation and Translation department in which I found a chance to take classes about Introduction to Translation, Translation-Oriented Text Analysis, Linguistics, Translation Technologies, Interpreting practices, Intercultural Communication Skills, Turkish for Translators, Academic Reading/Writing, Contemporary World Literature, Contemporary World Drama, World History and Arabic. I’m quite interested in literature. I like translating texts from different kind of domains such as medical, technical, literature, marketing and localization.
