My name is Romina Gasparrini and I am from Argentina. I work as a freelance translator and editor for local (Argentina) and foreign companies (USA, Mexico, Russia, UK) and provide full linguistic services to my clients (Translation, Editing, Proofreading, Subtitling, DTP).  I graduated from one of the most prestigious universities of Argentina, the National University of Cordoba, and I have been working in the field of translation for more than 10 years. The main CAT tools I work with are Smartling, Smartcat, Memsource, Trados Studio, Subtitle Edit, Aegisub, MemoQ, Xliff, XTM, Webcatt, SDLX, Wordfast Pro and Lingotek, and I also work with Linguistic Toolbox and XBench as QA tools. I am a qualified translator with a Bachelor of English Language and Professional Translator accreditation with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the past nineteen years I have worked for several end customers and agencies, providing translation services. I am completely fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian and received high distinction in all my language courses. As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. My interest in language and logic has led me to specialize also in modern fields such as software development translations, gaming localization, AI input/output editing, etc. After college I started learning Arabic language, also combined with my job as an editorial coordinator for institutionalized magazines belonging to professionals' associations of engineers and industrial chambers.

I’m a native Spanish speaker translator with fluency in German, Italian and English. I like to help my clients to overcome any language barrier they may find.
