Hi, my name is Andrés and I am a professional translator. I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting from the Central University of Venezuela and an AD in Computer Programming from Belgrano University. I started my journey as a freelancer back in 2012, and since then I have been collaborating with agencies and direct clients mostly from the US and Europe. My native language is Spanish from Venezuela, but most of my work has been focused on US and neutral Spanish and targeted to US and Latin American audiences. My main field of expertise is information technology, although I have also been involved in many projects related to other fields, mostly human resources and health care. Besides, in early 2020 I started to take my first baby steps as a freelance full-stack web developer, which has allowed me to gain hands-on experience in my field of expertise.

I am a Colombian guy who is currently working in Russia, I have been here for more than 5 consecutive years. My native language is Spanish, I have learned English since my childhood and also because I do not live in Colombia, as a personal goal I decided to learn the Russian language, currently I have a good level in all three languages. My daily translation output is around 2,500 - 3,000 words. In the near future, I want to translate literature (one of my great passions). I'm member of APTIC (Association of Professionals Translators and Interpreters of Catalonia).
