I am a sworn translator before the Tribunal Judiciaire of Perpignan and often perform translations and interpretations for this institution in the legal field (hearings, confrontations, reports, court decisions etc ..) Hi! I'm a professional translator from Spain with a degree in English studies: linguistics, grammar, literature and translation, and a Master's in literary translation. From studying and living abroad, currently living in Ireland, I have a firm grasp of Spanish and English/American cultures and as such can create natural and human translations. Amongst my recent translation work I can highlight: - Audio-visual media (movies, cartoons and documentaries) - Webpages (Provincial governmental, Amazon lists) - Tourist guides - Wine tasting notes - Literature (Novels, essays and short stories) - Educational documents. I am a freelance translator. I majored in communications at the Universidad Iberoamericana (Ibero); I also have a diploma in Academic Abilities by the ITESO and a master's degree in Humanities (Art, History, Philosophy, Literature) issued by the Tec de Monterrey/Cambridge University. I have been head of the career of Communication Sciences at the Institute of Sciences and Higher Studies of Tamaulipas. I have taught literature, short film, and film appreciation workshops; some of them were taught in Spanish some other in English. Also, I am a published author with over 15 years of experience writing short stories. I am a native speaker of both languages. I was born in the UK to Mexican parents, which means I have a full mastery of both languages. My work has revolved around translating financial reports for different companies all around the globe. Clients have especially reached out for me when needing to have contracts and agreement translated into accurate Spanish and English.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources. I would also like to add that I can handle deadlines just fine.
