I have a Bachelor's Degree in Certified Legal Translation, from the University of the Republic (Uruguay). I graduated in 2013. I have been working as a translator since 2011, both in-house and (mostly) freelance.

I'm a linguist from the National University of Colombia. I'm interested in indigenous languages description and language revitalization. Translation and interpretation are two skills that i developed while getting my degree. Also, I study them constantly to improve. I plan to pursue a master's degree in linguistics and a PHd in theoretical linguistics. I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. My native language is Spanish, I have learned English since my childhood and also because I do not live in Colombia, as a personal goal I decided to learn the Russian language, currently I have a good level in all three languages.
