I have a bachelors degree in Business with Marketing and Human Resources Diplomas. I've been working for more than 30 years in Translation, Transcription and Transcreation. Native Spanish speaker, born in Colombia Wide experience in general translations, I perform human translations and proofread them with the help of online dictionaries and some existing resources we have available in modern language services industry, in order to maintain the flow, meaning, quality and accuracy of the original text. In my spare or leisure time I try to perform translations for NGOs and NPOs in order to contribute to building a better world for the dispossessed, displaced and underprivileged.

I am a professional with more than 30 years of experience in English to Spanish and Spanish to English translations. I am capable of delivering excellent quality at an affordable rate. I was born and raised in Guatemala, where I attended an American school learning English as a Native rather than as a second language. I have spent the last 20+ years living in Mexico working as an interpreter and translator for American companies such as Jockey Intl. and Skyline Builders and then I worked with the Real Estate and Tourism Industry at the Riviera Maya for more than 5 years, where I wrote and translated web content, newsletters, rental and sales agreements, contracts and “fideicomisos”. For the last three years I have been translating books, scripts, stories and novels for renowned American, British and Canadian authors.
