I am a translator currently living in Mexico City. I might not have too much professional experience, however, since the beginning of my education, I have tried to attend as many workshops, courses and forums regarding subjects such as legal, engineering, pharmaceutical, tourism and video game translation. Therefore, I possess a wide variety of knowledge regarding these topics. In addition to my bachelors in Translation and Gastronomy, I am a former student of Chemical Engineering.

Certified in Professional Translation by WLS (Dublin) in 2015; I have been working in General Translation since 2015 but during the last year I have been dabbling into the Legal field. I am currently specializing myself in this area, as I hope to provide the highest possible quality in Legal translation.

As a Philosophy student I focused in the field of Linguistics, which during college I combined with my passion for learning foreign languages: French and Russian, as well as perfecting my English. I also find the process of researching a subject to ensure a solid translation to be particularly satisfying, as well as investigating the expressive possibilities of my target language, an aspect of the translation process that is often overlooked and yet an important element of the quality of the final product. I have experience using tools such as Trados or Memsource, as well as the various reliable reference sources for each language (DIEC; Treccani; RAE; Τριανταφυλλίδη...). The type of translation that most attracts my attention is literary, although I have extensive demonstrable experience in the field of technical translation (recent projects being for the nautical and stone industry). I am able to translate documents from Russian/English/Spanish to Spanish/English/Russian. I am also able to proofread documents so they sound as authentic and native as possible. My main experience is in the educational field with translating documents related to school work or program information but proofreading documents is also something I can do with ease.
