I am fluent in English and Portuguese and have an extensive knowledge of IT, technology, finance, economics, business, games and marketing, fields I worked in for more than 12 years. I’m a native Spanish speaker translator with fluency in German, Italian and English. I like to help my clients to overcome any language barrier they may find. I’ve been working since 2014 as a freelance translator and studied a Major in German, Italian and English Translation. I’m very familiarized with CAT Tools. At the same time, I have developed several audiovisual projects as feature films and corporative videos using Subtitle Edit and AegiSub. Among the most recent projects I’ve worked are: 12,000 words translation of a sales brochure for a marketing company (DE-ES); 6,000 words of a Patient Binder (EN-ES). I also translated and adapted legal documents such as Terms & Conditions, NDA agreements, Terms of Service. I always like to ensure seamless style, context, and overall meaning in the target language.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. About me Growing up bilingual When I was 10-years-old, my family moved from Spain to Colorado, USA. I attended middle school there and all of my friends were American. After just 9 months no one could believe I was not born American. Learning a language this way is the most effective and efficient way to learn it. As a child, you just simply take everything in and while learning a new language, you are also learning a new culture and way of thinking. At age 13 I moved back to Spain. I was then able to cement my Spanish cultural roots. Then, when I was 15-years-old, we moved again, this time to Portugal. Here I was able to learn Portuguese at still an early age. After obtaining two University Degrees, in Law and Business Administration, and an MBA in International Business Management, I worked for several years as a lawyer, external auditor in PwC, financial controller and cost manager in several countries around the world. Throughout this time, I also worked as a freelance translator and reviser for a Law Firm for over 8 years. It then became clear to me that I was meant to be a translator and now I work as a full-time translator and reviser.
