I started my career as professional translator in 1995, when I joined the foreign department of a pharmaceutical company. At that time, I enjoyed an international environment, giving me the possibility to work extensively in different kind of documents, including technical translations, legal and financial. Afterwards in 2005, 9 years later, I started my career as independent translator. With over 28 years of professional experience, I comply with the ISO 17100 International Standards for high quality translations. Welcome! I am a graduate in Translation and Interpreting with both volunteer and professional experience. My main areas of expertise are Legal Translation, Economic Translation and Life Sciences Translation, but I’m also open to explore different fields. I aim to be a serious and reliable professional. That’s why I take deadlines very seriously and always try to maintain a smooth communication with the client in order to achieve the best results. I am a translator based in Guatemala and have over seven years of experience translating a variety of documents. I am certified to translate legal documents. Apart from working as a freelance translator, I have also worked as a translator and interpreter for an NGO. More recently, I have specialized in translating news articles from English into Spanish for a major news organization, including proofreading and editing articles. These covered a wide scope of topics, from travel and entertainment to social issues and politics. I am used to working on close deadlines, paying attention to detail and delivering a high-quality translation. I completed my studies at Escuela Profesional de Traductores e Intérpretes, a translation school in Guatemala.

I am a Spanish cabin crew with extensive experience interacting with foreign people of all over the world, as a native Spanish speaker I translate from English to Spanish. I have cooperated with a translation agency named Abroads Traducciones, translating different types of documents ( academics, legal...).

An avid reader and passionate translator with a thirst for quality and inspiring work who holds a B.A. in Law and an M.A. in Arts Management, and who takes pride in helping companies and individuals to reach perfect translations. I traslate from French, English and Italian to Spanish & Catalan.

Prof Translations

Since I was on college I had a strong passion for linguistics and the proccess of how language is acquired. Perfectioning my english and forming reading circles were some of the activities I put my effort on, aswell focusing my studies on a language-based therapy. My interest in language has led me to translation, in which I have worked these years having completed translations in areas as diverse as cooking, industry, sports betting, medicine, documentation, among others.
