I am a Sworn English-Spanish-English Translator and Interpreter, certified by the National University of Colombia. After graduating from a double B.A. in Philosophy and History, more than six years ago, I have worked permanently as an English-Spanish translator and interpreter in a wide range of areas: financial, legal, literary and medical. I started my career as professional translator in 1995, when I joined the foreign department of a pharmaceutical company. At that time, I enjoyed an international environment, giving me the possibility to work extensively in different kind of documents, including technical translations, legal and financial. Afterwards in 2005, 9 years later, I started my career as independent translator. With over 28 years of professional experience, I comply with the ISO 17100 International Standards for high quality translations. I'm a university certified English to Spanish translator with 7 years of experience in many fields, specialized in the IT, software, engineering, business, marketing, medical and legal/patents fields. Availability: I'm available full-time, Monday to Sunday. I work during the holidays and overtime as needed. Daily Capacity: Around 3,500 words (translation), 5,000 words (post-editing).
