I am a qualified translator with a Bachelor of English Language and Professional Translator accreditation with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters in Buenos Aires, Argentina. For the past nineteen years I have worked for several end customers and agencies, providing translation services. I am completely fluent in Spanish, English, Portuguese and Italian and received high distinction in all my language courses. I am also an extremely hard-working, responsible and mature worker, who enjoys working in a team as well as autonomously. I would love the opportunity to make a contribution to your team. My name is Raúl Guerrero, and I am a full-time certified freelance translator / interpreter with degrees from US universities and 18 years of experience. I focus on quality, quick delivery, and accuracy. My native language is Spanish, and I studied in the US for approximately 7 years obtaining my high school diploma, a Bachelor of Science from Iowa State University (Ames, IA, USA), and an MBA from Tiffin University (Tiffin, OH, USA). I am also a member of the American Translators Association (Member # 262649) since 2015. I have abundant experience translating, localizing, interpreting, editing, transcreating, and proofreading for translation and interpretation companies from all over the globe including USA, Europe, Latin America, Australia, the Middle East, and Asia.

About me Growing up bilingual When I was 10-years-old, my family moved from Spain to Colorado, USA. I attended middle school there and all of my friends were American. After just 9 months no one could believe I was not born American. Learning a language this way is the most effective and efficient way to learn it. As a child, you just simply take everything in and while learning a new language, you are also learning a new culture and way of thinking. At age 13 I moved back to Spain. I was then able to cement my Spanish cultural roots. Then, when I was 15-years-old, we moved again, this time to Portugal. Here I was able to learn Portuguese at still an early age. After obtaining two University Degrees, in Law and Business Administration, and an MBA in International Business Management, I worked for several years as a lawyer, external auditor in PwC, financial controller and cost manager in several countries around the world. Throughout this time, I also worked as a freelance translator and reviser for a Law Firm for over 8 years. It then became clear to me that I was meant to be a translator and now I work as a full-time translator and reviser.

I am a Spanish cabin crew with extensive experience interacting with foreign people of all over the world, as a native Spanish speaker I translate from English to Spanish. I have cooperated with a translation agency named Abroads Traducciones, translating different types of documents ( academics, legal...).
