I have taught literature, short film, and film appreciation workshops; some of them were taught in Spanish some other in English. Also, I am a published author with over 15 years of experience writing short stories. I am a native speaker of both languages. I was born in the UK to Mexican parents, which means I have a full mastery of both languages. My work has revolved around translating financial reports for different companies all around the globe. I am a qualified translator with a Bachelor of English Language and Professional Translator accreditation with the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters in Buenos Aires, Argentina. My name is Cristina Fernández and I am a full-time Spanish translator and proofreader. I hold a degree in Translation and Interpreting (University of Salamanca, 2012). I am native in Spanish (EU) and I am fluent in English and French. I have 10 years of experience, one as an in-house Project Manager for a Spanish Agency (McFelder Translations) and 9 as a freelancer, working with several agencies as well as direct clients (Booking.com, Amazon.com and others).

I have translated ever since my college graduation. I translate in the combinations Spanish-English, and German-English. I specialized in translating contracts, novels, certificates, certifications, wills, deeds, court sentences. Furthermore, I have translated for mining and drug companies. I work on projects concerning to drug information, medical reports, drug test results, leasing of mines, information about minerals, among others.
