In 2018, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics. I majored in Translation in Economics and Finance. In 2020, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University with a master’s degree in International Relations. I majored in Studies of the Baltic and Nordic Countries. Within 23 years’ career in Caterpillar I had held many different positions in engineering, product support, sales, marketing and management. I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation. Since 2017, translation has become the main activity for me. In this work I always try to achieve a meaningful result. Machine translation is mostly not used, although occasionally I resort to it, if the subject allows. I intensively use the CAT-system tools: translation memory, glossaries, concordance search. In the search for translations of terms I use all available means taking into account the context. I can aloso translate into another direction (English) but it's a torture for me because I'm not native in it.

Hello, I'm a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Civil Engineering at Aalto University, Finland. Within my 4-year research career, I, together with my colleagues, have successfully published several international-level scientific papers and presented our research achievements at sever conferences. As a part of my main tasks, I am also performing data and image analysis with R script and Python. The major of my Master's studies was Civil Engineering. Therefore, I also have working experience in the Structural Engineering Company. I am skilled in Autocad, Revit, and Tekla. The passion for art led me to the art school that I have successfully finished. Nowadays, I still proceed to draw and create jewelry at home. I am also using Photoshop and illustrator daily.
