In 2018, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics. I majored in Translation in Economics and Finance. In 2020, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University with a master’s degree in International Relations. I majored in Studies of the Baltic and Nordic Countries. I have over 25 years of experience as a freelance translator, in various fields. I started as a translatir of fiction and non-fiction books for the Popurri Publishing House in Minsk, Belarus, in early 1990s. Later I was enrolled on a EU Tacis technical assitance project dealing with employment sevices as a transportation officer/translator where I was responsible, among other things, for delivering everyday translations. In parallel, I did freelance jobs for various translation agencies and the above publishing house. In total, I have worked on 6 international projects in various fields from climate change to biodiversity protection in Grodno Region in Belarus. As a result, I have acquired a solid experience in various areas of expertise as a translator/interpreter.

For the last 8 years I have worked as a technical writer for a software company based in Toronto, and with a subsidiary office in Minsk. I have been responsible for online help, manuals, website management, customer support, traslation and transcription/subtitling. I must mention a special experience of mine. For the last 4-5 years, I have been very successfully collaborating with a UK-based translation agency which almost entirely deals with healthcare and pharmacology-related translations. A lion share of this work has been from Russian to English. My previous experience working as a crew member on international TA projects had helped me polish this particular language pair.

Hello, I'm a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Civil Engineering at Aalto University, Finland. Within my 4-year research career, I, together with my colleagues, have successfully published several international-level scientific papers and presented our research achievements at sever conferences. As a part of my main tasks, I am also performing data and image analysis with R script and Python. The major of my Master's studies was Civil Engineering. Therefore, I also have working experience in the Structural Engineering Company. I am skilled in Autocad, Revit, and Tekla. The passion for art led me to the art school that I have successfully finished. Nowadays, I still proceed to draw and create jewelry at home.
