I have over 25 years of experience as a freelance translator, in various fields. I started as a translatir of fiction and non-fiction books for the Popurri Publishing House in Minsk, Belarus, in early 1990s. Later I was enrolled on a EU Tacis technical assitance project dealing with employment sevices as a transportation officer/translator where I was responsible, among other things, for delivering everyday translations. In parallel, I did freelance jobs for various translation agencies and the above publishing house. In total, I have worked on 6 international projects in various fields from climate change to biodiversity protection in Grodno Region in Belarus. As a result, I have acquired a solid experience in various areas of expertise as a translator/interpreter.

For the last 8 years I have worked as a technical writer for a software company based in Toronto, and with a subsidiary office in Minsk. I have been responsible for online help, manuals, website management, customer support, traslation and transcription/subtitling. I must mention a special experience of mine. For the last 4-5 years, I have been very successfully collaborating with a UK-based translation agency which almost entirely deals with healthcare and pharmacology-related translations. A lion share of this work has been from Russian to English. My previous experience working as a crew member on international TA projects had helped me polish this particular language pair.

As can be seen from the above, my translation work has been extensive and thorough. Working with me, you can rely on very accurate translations deliver always on time. My terminology search skills are second to none.

I'm a physician by education specialized in nephrology with experience in translation of medical articles. For more than 3 years I've been working in Big Pharma with experience in translation of wide range of regulatory and clinical documents (periodic safety reports, clinical trials protocols and reports, PSMF, etc.). Thus I have profound knowledge in all basic terms within pharmaceutical industry, both in English (regulated by EMA / FDA) and in Russian (regulated by Ministry of Health / Federal Service on Surveillance in Healthcare and Social Development of Russian Federation).

I have a lot of experience in scientific and technical translations, always do the work qualitatively and in time. I'm responsible and attentive to details. Despite my degree is in philology I also have rich background in technical and IT-spheres. Also I practise the translation of verses and find it fascinating. I have worked as a translator/interpreter for more than 10 years now. This is the thing I love and enjoy doing most of all. I've done legal translations, movie scripts, translations for online media, books and marketing materials.

Right now I'm working in Kazakh private aviation company El Samgau as a Chinese-Russian, English-Russian translator. I'm also part-working as an online Chinese, English and German teacher in international school ITGENIO. From september 2022 to December 2022 I worked in foreign language school Arboris (located in Izhevsk, Russia). I conducted express courses on English grammar, phonology and reading rules. From September of 2020 to May 2021 I worked as a volunteer in Udmurt State University to help international students. My duties included: meeting international students in airport, accompanying them to a resedence, translation of documents, helping with documents, helping with settlement, helping with adaptation, conducting city tours, helping with conference translations.

I am freelance translator of English-Georgian-Russian (vice versa) languages. My native languages are Georgian and Russian. My experience covers a wide scope of subjects, including the financial, legal, economic, technical and literary translations. My customers are translation agencies as well as companies and organizations of different sizes and industries.

I am an MD currently working as a Human Physiology lecturer for English-speaking students in Russia. I've also finished a 2-year residency and a 3-year fellowship in Oncology. In the latter I've been participating in fundamental research studies (and working with literature databases a lot). My experience in translation specifically is slighly more than 1 year, but I am willing to further develop my skill in this area. I feel familiar enough with biostatistics and able to correctly translate specific terms.
