Learning new things has always been an exciting experience, so I got interested in law and human rights, medicine, technologies, and art. For when I go deep into any of the above-mentioned subject, I am mesmerized by the beauty of human thought, this unbelievable power to discover cures for lethal diseases and change the history, fight for justice and equality, make the difference and make this world a better place for us all. I'm a licensed translator from French, English, Spanish and Italian languages. I have a Ph.D degree in linguistics for researching short French science-popular movies, so I have a large experience in movie translation that I like very much. Besides, I took a course of advanced training in hospitality in French after which I worked in a French company as animator. Also, I underwent training in an aviation agency for a year where I worked as a translator then. Always learning, always hardworking.

Extensive experience in: – technical literature translation (general technology, production equipment, transport, communications equipment and systems; IT technologies and systems: measuring and computing equipment; medical translations – therapy, diagnostics, pharmacology, medical equipment) etc. from Russian into English and from English into Russian; – developing technical documentation (user and service guides, instruction booklets, user interfaces etc., incl. in accordance with international methods and standards); – writing articles, essays, advertising texts, reviews, presentations, participating in conferences and shows. Skills and capabilities: Windows and Mac office software skills, some experience in software development environments. Experience with Adobe InDesign page setting, document and publication creation (guides, catalogs, posters, leaflets), digital image (drawings, diagrams etc.) editing and retouching in Adobe Photoshop.

I am a English & German native speaker with a great passion for language. Since 2014 I have been working as English to German freelance translator. In addition to that I have also gained valuable in-house experience by working at established and well-known translation agencies occupying roles as translation checker and proof-reader as well as project manager and translator.

As a translator, I had a chance to work with big publishing houses (Condé Nast, Independent Media), a top level research institution in Russia (National Research University Higher School of Economics) and various companies abroad (The World Bank, Söring GmbH, Bonafide Immobilien GmbH).

After that, I’ve climbed all the stages of Russian medical training, obtained a distinction, and won the President of Russia’s grant for a one-year Ph.D. training in Marburg, Germany. While performing a physician’s career, I’ve started my experience as a freelancer in the medical translation of Clinical study protocols, manuals, and clinical documents in various medical disciplines. In recent years, I’ve concentrated in preparation of scientific papers for publication in US-English medical journals.
