I've been doing translations from/to English since 2006. For 1 year I've translated market reviews and news in a mass media agency. Later on I've worked at the seaport for 4 years, where I was involved in the project of a container terminal. During this period I got an experience in translation of technical texts (specifications), contracts, correspondence. Apart of that, I've also an experience of working in a hotel business. As a freelance translator I've done translations on financial and energy topics, as well as press releases.

I work as a technical (medical care field) over-the-phone Interpreter for an Ezispeak translation company. I hold 5 years of experience in the translation field. I am fluent in Russian (native language) and English languages. I also expertise in IT, business, legal, TECHNICAL ( geology, industry and equipment) translation fields. I have an experience in translating articles and writing articles for the various web-sites. I get my translation done on time and I also guarantee that my translation is accurate. Word capacity - up to 2000 words per day. It depends on an urgency of translation.

Extensive experience in: – technical literature translation (general technology, production equipment, transport, communications equipment and systems; IT technologies and systems: measuring and computing equipment; medical translations – therapy, diagnostics, pharmacology, medical equipment) etc. from Russian into English and from English into Russian; – developing technical documentation (user and service guides, instruction booklets, user interfaces etc., incl. in accordance with international methods and standards); – writing articles, essays, advertising texts, reviews, presentations, participating in conferences and shows. Skills and capabilities: Windows and Mac office software skills, some experience in software development environments. Experience with Adobe InDesign page setting, document and publication creation (guides, catalogs, posters, leaflets), digital image (drawings, diagrams etc.) editing and retouching in Adobe Photoshop.

I have been doing translations since 2006. I'm also running a translation agency, however that's a separate business, and you can be sure that all translations at smartcat are done by me personally. I am a certified translator, conference interpreter, engineer and Candidate of technical sciences (kandidat nauk). My language-related hobbies include etymology and comparative linguistics. * Yes, I do speak several languages. * No, I am not fluent enought in French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Belarusian, Ukrainian, Polish, Azerbaijani or Arabic to translate TO these languages, but I do understand them enough to translate FROM them.

I am currently a 2nd year RANEPA University student. I know terminology of business english and at the time I study english in law sphere. My part time job is interpreter.
