My translation career encompasses diverse areas, from movie industry (translating for Hollywood film stars (Jon Voight, Sammi Davis) to translating for roughnecks on drilling rigs in Siberia. This hands-on experience in various occupations, combined with technical background in survey & mapping, allows me to produce accurate, precise translations of even the most complicated texts. I have been working as a freelance translator since 2006, with more than 6 million words translated to date. I first started my translation career in mid 1980-ies with a few odd translation / interpretation jobs of a few months each. Hello, I am a teacher of English and graduated from the University in 2004. Unfortunately I did not work as a teacher but the skills that I got there still help me in my present life. Over last 4 years I have worked as an import manager for one wholesale Russian company. And I got much experience in the following: translation of business letters, product descriptions, technical documentation, invoices. packing lists, contracts and other things.
