Hello, I'm a Doctoral Candidate at the Department of Civil Engineering at Aalto University, Finland. Within my 4-year research career, I, together with my colleagues, have successfully published several international-level scientific papers and presented our research achievements at sever conferences. As a part of my main tasks, I am also performing data and image analysis with R script and Python. The major of my Master's studies was Civil Engineering. Therefore, I also have working experience in the Structural Engineering Company. I am skilled in Autocad, Revit, and Tekla. The passion for art led me to the art school that I have successfully finished. Nowadays, I still proceed to draw and create jewelry at home. I am also using Photoshop and illustrator daily.

I have finished MA studies in Philology and Translation, currently I work in translation office in Warsaw. My native languages are Ukrainian and Russian, I am also fluent in English and Polish. I live in Poland for 5 years already.

I am a professional translator and interpreter in the following language pairs: English - Chinese; Chinese - Russian and English - Russian. I have been working in this field for almost 22 years, i.e. as an in-house translator in such a distinguished company as HUAWEI Technologies and some others and also as a freelancer. I am familiar to main business processes including management, ISO certification, investment and start-up projects management from the stage of scope study and pre-feasibility study to the stage of Due Diligence and project delivery; procurement and supply chain activities; HR management; marketing and sales - all because I also have got an experience of working as an HR manager, SCD manager, the Head of commercial department and Assistant to CEO. I am a chemical engineer by trade and I graduated the Moscow Institute of Oil & Gas Industry. I am about 30 years worked as a chemical engineer and chemist. In the last 8 years, I have been engaged in translation from English to Russian of the different types of texts. I take part also in project Coursera as translator-volunteer. Professional translator

My translation career encompasses diverse areas, from movie industry (translating for Hollywood film stars (Jon Voight, Sammi Davis) to translating for roughnecks on drilling rigs in Siberia. This hands-on experience in various occupations, combined with technical background in survey & mapping, allows me to produce accurate, precise translations of even the most complicated texts. I have been working as a freelance translator since 2006, with more than 6 million words translated to date. I first started my translation career in mid 1980-ies with a few odd translation / interpretation jobs of a few months each. I then went on to work as a staff translator for the first Soviet-US JV White Nights in 1990 and continued to pursue this career with several other JVs and US companies until 2006, when I became a full-time freelance translator. Besides working as a translator during that period, I also held several other positions in procurement, logistics and administration at these companies, which subsequently proved to be a valuable source of knowledge for my work as an independent translator after 2006.

Native speaker of Russian, BS and MS in Environmental Protection and Ecology including one year of residency in Portugal in the framework of Erasmus Mundus External Cooperation Window Program.
