I studied the rules of translation of specialized technical terms in the field of radiophysics, physics, energy etc. Translated (from English into Russian and Ukrainian and vice versa) of scientific and technical literature, articles, abstracts, instructions and other documentation in the field of energy, mining and nuclear industry, physics, chemistry, mechanics, construction, quality systems .... including ISO IAEA.

I am a freelance translator with almost four years of experience in the field of translation. I've been working as a tutor (English and German) for 3 years and as a translator (freelance) for a year and a half. I fluently speak English and German. Moreover I can work with the business communication, translating articles on the business topics and so on. I've taken part in different international student exchange programs, particularly in Germany (DAAD Summer courses). I passed there inofficial language tests(TestDaF), which showed my B2-C1 language level.

I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation. Since 2017, translation has become the main activity for me. In this work I always try to achieve a meaningful result. Machine translation is mostly not used, although occasionally I resort to it, if the subject allows. I intensively use the CAT-system tools: translation memory, glossaries, concordance search. In the search for translations of terms I use all available means taking into account the context. I can aloso translate into another direction (English) but it's a torture for me because I'm not native in it.
