60 years of age, born 14/03/1961 My main foreign languages are English and Spanish CAT tools: OmegaT, Memsource, SmartCAT Translation experience: 1990 - 1992: Interpreting and translating during an American-Russian project for the delivery and implementation of cellular network. 1992 - 2008: Work for international companies with working English language (see below) where I translated business and technical documents and interpreted at business and working meetings. 2020: I began to work as a full-time freelance translator: English, Spanish. Other languages I translate from using a dictionary: Arabic, Polish.

I have been working in different areas. Starting with teaching English at public school and ending with working as a translator at one mobile communication company in Uzbekistan. Also, I do freelancing. I am constantly working on myself to be better and more competitive at my job.

I am an extremely responsible person and possess almost 5 years' experience in the world of translation, during which I have gained excellent mastery of texts and topics in many areas. I do not have a linguistic education, but in the process of my education, working as a lecturer, a researcher and an IT manager (up to CIO), I very often had to apply my knowledge of English for reading and translating English literature and documentation. Since 2017, translation has become the main activity for me. In this work I always try to achieve a meaningful result. Machine translation is mostly not used, although occasionally I resort to it, if the subject allows. I intensively use the CAT-system tools: translation memory, glossaries, concordance search. In the search for translations of terms I use all available means taking into account the context.

I can aloso translate into another direction (English) but it's a torture for me because I'm not native in it.
