I’m an English to Russian and Russian to English translator. I’ve been doing freelance for some 12 years, and during this time I had great experience in many areas. My key areas of expertise are energy, resources, mining, etc. I’m a native Russian speaker and will be glad to provide proofreading services. I majored in germanic philology, while minored in law. I have worked as a translator/interpreter for more than 10 years now. This is the thing I love and enjoy doing most of all. I've done legal translations, movie scripts, translations for online media, books and marketing materials.

I am a professional translator/interpreter from Yekaterinburg, Russia. Free lance experience since 1998 (see details in my CV attached hereto). I mainly work in the field of industry, especially metallurgy, as our region has been developing since the 18th century around metal extraction and metal work. In 2013, I started translating articles for the Russian Academy of Sciences (the Ural Branch). Since that time, no article has been refused by foreign publishing houses and offices for a poor quality of translation.

In 2018, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University of Economics with a bachelor's degree in Linguistics. I majored in Translation in Economics and Finance. In 2020, I graduated from the St. Petersburg State University with a master’s degree in International Relations. I majored in Studies of the Baltic and Nordic Countries. I have the skills of technical/literary/scientific translation, business correspondence and document management, translation of contracts, text editing and proofreading.
