My name is Daniela Gomes and I have been a Portuguese freelance translator and subtitler (EN-PTpt) for four years. In 2015, I finished my BA in Applied Languages and concluded my MA in Translation and Multilingual Communication early 2018. I have been working for international companies from North America and Europe translating and subtitling movies, TV shows and series for several well-known studios. I am a very responsible, ambitious and determined person who has worked in English, French and Spanish projects throughout the last years.

I have 10 years of experience in the IT and computing areas translating technical and marketing material for leading tech companies and brands in the international hardware and software market. I'm specialized in IT, computer software and hardware, consumer electronics, Internet, social media, and telecommunications. My other fields of experience include games/software localization and testing, business and finance, marketing and advertising, and tourism.

I have been working as full-time translator in various English to Brazilian Portuguese freelance projects since February 2013. During this time, I translated over 1,000,000 words in hundreds of projects for various clients, as well as proofread/edited hundreds of translations.
