First, I would like to introduce myself very briefly. I am a 42-year old native Portuguese speaker, who grew, studied and, nowadays, works in Portugal (in the city with the famous hovering umbrella installation, by the way). I have been working as full-time translator in various English to Brazilian Portuguese freelance projects since February 2013. During this time, I translated over 1,000,000 words in hundreds of projects for various clients, as well as proofread/edited hundreds of translations.
