Ricardo Jevoux is an experienced English translator and native speaker of Portuguese from Rio de Janeiro. He lives in Portugal where he works as a freelance linguist. I've started translating IT content. As a freelancer, I work mainly with IT, Games, Literature and Medical content.

9 years of experience with translation, proofreading, and editing from English into Brazilian and European Portuguese. I started at Demand Media Studios and WikiHow back in 2013 translating do-it-yourself and general knowledge articles. Then, I moved to Upwork and Elance to try and build partnerships with some direct clients. 534 tracked hours on Upwork and 390 contracts since 2014. 549,371 words translated on Gengo, with more than 1,287 tracked hours. 7,780 words on MotaWord since 2015. I have a degree in Law and I am a lawyer and I have a degree in Pharmacy having worked both in the pharmaceutical industry and managing a pharmacy.
