Hello! I am a Brazilian freelance translator/localizer (English/Portuguese-BR), proofreader and editor. My first translation job as a freelancer was in 2013 and I started working as a full-time freelance translator in 2017. In the last three years, I have been providing translating, subtitling, copywriting and proofreading services for several clients, such as TransPerfect Translations and Trivago. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication, a Specialization in Editorial Projects and a Master’s degree in Literary and Cultural Studies. I am both a Business Management and a Social Communication Bachelor, which I believe is a great advantage for understanding the corporative universe and advertisement industry. For that reason, I have knowledge of the specific vocabulary involving management, HR, finance, marketing, advertisement and so on. Besides that, I teach English to lawyers, accountants, admen and managers in Brazil as a private teacher, not only having to prepare specific classes, but also having to edit and proofread their emails and reports.
