My name is Daniela Gomes and I have been a Portuguese freelance translator and subtitler (EN-PTpt) for four years. In 2015, I finished my BA in Applied Languages and concluded my MA in Translation and Multilingual Communication early 2018. I am native Portuguese with excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills and I have almost as great skills in English. My brain is definitely bilingual. I started teaching English teacher in Brazil immediately after I finished my English course. I passed Proficiency exams (Cambridge and Michigan) and took my graduation course at University. I worked as a teacher for many years, studied Spanish, took a subtitling course in Brazil before I moved to Argentina in 2005, where, besides teaching I started working as a freelancer translator.

I have a bachelor's degree in social communication and computer science, but i worked full-time with translation for the last 6 years. I have experience translating I.T. and automation areas, literature, digital games, board games and other technical texts.
