I am a translation student who has been working with translation since 2018. I have translated all kinds of texts of texts, from poetry to academic essays and articles. Since I am at university exclusively studying translation, I have a vast theoretical background combined with translation practice since it is part of the course curriculum. I have been part of a scientific initiation project for undergraduates and received an honorable mention for it.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources. I would also like to add that I can handle deadlines just fine.

A self-taught English speaker in love with games, technology, and literature. I'm an undergraduate in the Linguistics areas, with a research published concerning translation studies. As such, I have been working as a translator for 8 years as a freelancer, specialized in game and fantasy stories. I have previously served as a market researcher covering food, drink, lifestyles, trends, technology, and media habits in Brazil. I also have some experience in subtitling, working as a volunteer for TED. I have lived in English speaking countries for over eight years now and I am a native Portuguese speaker.
