I have been working as full-time translator in various English to Brazilian Portuguese freelance projects since February 2013. During this time, I translated over 1,000,000 words in hundreds of projects for various clients, as well as proofread/edited hundreds of translations. I taught English for 25 years. After retiring from school I started working with translations, editing and proofreading.

I have a degree in Law and I am a lawyer and I have a degree in Pharmacy having worked both in the pharmaceutical industry and managing a pharmacy. Since I was a kid, I was always passionate about other languages and cultures and deep down I always knew translation was the path to pursue, except for that time when I thought I could be an astronaut.
