I'm a native Portuguese translator, on the market for over 6 years. I've worked with several known companies such as Panasonic, IQ Options and TetraPak, which allowed me to solidify myself as an experienced translator on a few areas of interest. I have a communication degree, that allowed me to not only develop my writing skills, but also propelled me to gather my own network of satisfied clients. However, I'm always looking for more! I taught English for 25 years. After retiring from school I started working with translations, editing and proofreading.

My native language is Portuguese. I was certified Portuguese interpreter and translator by the state of Texas in 2004 by the Dallas County Community College System.

I am native Portuguese with excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills and I have almost as great skills in English. My brain is definitely bilingual. I have been a freelance Professional Translator since 2013, specializing in Business, Marketing and Social Sciences. However, I have also performed successful translations in many other different fields, such as website and app contents, legal contracts, technical manuals, automotive systems, coaching materials, among others. I am very detail and quality oriented. Before that, I was an Administrative Assistant for over 5 years. I translated some website articles as a volunteer (since 2010) and I worked for an import/export company where I was responsible for all external communications (English/Spanish).

I use SDL Trados 2011, but I always check my translations, sentence by sentence, for grammar, meaning and vocabulary use - no automatic translations!
