Hello. I have a few thing I'd like you to know about my work in translation: I've had some tasks translating from English to Portuguese and vice-versa, mainly casual translations. I'm fluent in English (Currently at C1 level) and speaking Portuguese as a mother tongue. First, I would like to introduce myself very briefly. I am a 42-year old native Portuguese speaker, who grew, studied and, nowadays, works in Portugal (in the city with the famous hovering umbrella installation, by the way). I am a trained translator with a diploma in English and Portuguese languages and translation post-graduate studies. Before finishing university I decided to interrupt studies to work as an expatriate translator/interpreter in a construction project with a Portuguese company in Barbados. I have completed university after returning and never stopped doing what I really like: communicate between languages.
