I am an English teacher and translator, with fluent level of English and native Brazilian Portuguese.

I am a transparent, goal-oriented, and perfectionist professional with a positive perspective. I enjoy remote work and carefully follow instructions and I find it easy to work for long periods including during the night and maintain my attention to detail. That comes, of course, from having a genuine interest in Languages and Translation since I was a child and constant curiosity in researching different topics. I provide translation, retroversion, proofreading, transcription, and captioning services in general and specialized domains with appropriate technical resources. I would also like to add that I can handle deadlines just fine.

Grew up in England to Brazilian parents in a bilingual home, is a highly experienced interpreter with over 400 days in the booth, and has interpreted at the highest levels for fortune 500 CEOs, governors, mayors, and Royalty. 95% of my work is simultaneous interpreting and of that 90% highly technical. Is also experienced in RSI platforms. I´m looking to leverage my written translation work and gain more experience in this field. Also a lawyer, gamer, and all-around generalist.

I'm a post-graduation professor and former IBM consultant, Brazilian, living in the metropolitan area of São Paulo. As a certified translator for the pair English into Brazilian Portuguese, I’m interested in new opportunities and starting long-term relationships. I've been a reporter (as a day job) for almost ten years. I've been doing translations as a freelancer for longer. I am currently working as a multimedia producer at BBC News Brasil and studying law at USP (Universidade de São Paulo).
