My name is Fanni, and I am currently studying International Business Economics at Corvinus University of Budapest. My native language is Hungarian, but besides that I speak English at an advanced level and I have an intermediate level Business Italian language certificate, moreover, I am preparing for an advanced level Business Italian language exam at the moment. After graduating in Specialized Translation from Italy's Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, I spent several years working as a translator, interpreter, editor and language consultant for an NGO sponsoring medical and environmental research. I am now working as a freelance translator, editor, proofreader and language consultant. My clients include not-for-profit organizations, publishing houses and LSPs. I have been working as translator since the graduation from University for foreign languages where I studied English, Italian and German language. At that time, I understood that what made me really excited about was studying languages as a tool of communication and sharing so, after obtaining the diploma, I decided to make a change in my life by choosing a university focused on the practical study of languages in order to constantly apply the acquired skills and prove myself. ° ° ° I consider myself as an introvert and stubborn, but open-minded person, always willing to exchange views with others, to learn about different cultures and lifestyles, especially by travelling and getting to know new people.
