I was born in the USA from Italian parents, and lived there up to age 13, thus growing up in a bilingual family and school environment. I achieved my degree as an English and French translator in 2000, and have been working since then as a translator, both freelance and in-house, in the following language pairs: ENG > IT, IT>EN, FR>IT. I worked for 7 years for an engineering and consulting firm, translating all sorts of documents, administrative, technical, project-related, business and legal. I currently work as a freelance translator.

I started my career 21 years ago as in-house translator and PM at a translation agency based in Turin, Italy. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. I have got a good deal of experience translating technical/marketing texts and software, but also motorsports, cycling and tourism (from English, Spanish, and French into Italian).
