I have always had a great passion for languages, but it was during the high school when I realized that my passion could become my job. At that time, I understood that what made me really excited about was studying languages as a tool of communication and sharing so, after obtaining the diploma, I decided to make a change in my life by choosing a university focused on the practical study of languages in order to constantly apply the acquired skills and prove myself. ° ° ° I consider myself as an introvert and stubborn, but open-minded person, always willing to exchange views with others, to learn about different cultures and lifestyles, especially by travelling and getting to know new people. I began to work as foreign language expert and manager assistant for an international architect in Florence (1999-2002). After a couple of years, I joined a buying office (2002-2006 ) - dealing with the fashion industry, first as a translator, and then, as a production and logistics coordinator. I'm a freelance translator since 2007. I'm a TAUS certified Post Editor, Quality Manager and Transcreator. After three years, I decided to take up the challenge and become a freelancer, in order to devote myself to those texts I was most interested in. My experience as PM gave me a deep insight into all aspects related to the translation process, thus I perfectly know and understand the needs and expectations of Project Managers whom I work with. I am able to work under pressure, and manage large volumes of work with no prejudice to quality. I am able to translate very technical texts, like instruction manuals for X-ray inspection systems, but also to use my creative side to produce translations of content marketing articles.
