I am a native Italian translator working with Russian, English and German. I have a Master's degree in Translation and Interpreting. I like to describe myself as an active guy, punctual, hard-working and always focused on improving myself.

I'm a linguistics-enthusiast italian guy who completed his bachelor degree in translation at the University of Genoa, Italy. The languages I have studied are English and Russian, but I can also speak a little Spanish and a little Polish. I truly love experiencing and analyzing foreign cultures, reason why I have spent a considerable amount of time abroad considering my young age: I have lived in Russia for 1 month, in Poland for 5 months and in Australia for 15 months.

I'm an Italian TRANSLATOR, PROOFREADER, author and teacher with a degree in English Language and Literature. I translate from ENGLISH and FRENCH to ITALIAN, my native language, I have worked in the publishing field as an author and coauthor, writing and editing books, dictionaries and readers for students of English (for more than 12 years), and created crosswords and puzzles in English for a magazine published monthly (for about five years). The subjects I'm more interested in are: tourism and monuments, history, geography, literature, gardening and plants, food and drinks, art, environment, animals, hobbies, celebrations, traditions, folklore, society, religion, children's books, stories, proverbs, poems, songs, music.

I am a professional translator. Before and during my academic career I have worked as a freelancer, performing on specialized texts such as user manual guides, scientific abstracts, patents, technical data sheets, popular science articles, and business contracts. I am able to translate other literary genres, also less formal like novels, newspaper and fashion articles, and literary works in general with a certain degree of proficiency at using CAT tools like SmartCat, OmegaT, Wordfast Anywhere, SDL Trados, MateCat. My linguistic combinations are: IT>EN/EN>IT, IT>DE/DE>IT. I am very flexible in terms of working hours and workload because I am prepared to work late and also on weekends in case of urgent projects.
