Hello! My name is Sara and i am an italian translator! I started to translate in 2015 as volunteer translator for Rosetta Foundation. Then i started my experience with the Studio Barbara Cupiti Servizi Linguistici translating medical texts!

I’m a translator working from English, German and French into Italian. I graduated from the Advanced School for Interpreters and Translators in Florence where I got a University Diploma (1998) EN>IT - DE>IT. I began to work as foreign language expert and manager assistant for an international architect in Florence (1999-2002). After a couple of years, I joined a buying office (2002-2006 ) - dealing with the fashion industry, first as a translator, and then, as a production and logistics coordinator. I'm a freelance translator since 2007. I'm a TAUS certified Post Editor, Quality Manager and Transcreator. My fields of specialization are Marketing and Web Marketing, Media and Communication, Cryptocurrencies, Clothing and Healthcare. I also cooperate with a local web agency in charge of translating and localizing websites.

After graduating in Specialized Translation from Italy's Advanced School of Modern Languages for Interpreters and Translators, I spent several years working as a translator, interpreter, editor and language consultant for an NGO sponsoring medical and environmental research. I am now working as a freelance translator, editor, proofreader and language consultant. My clients include not-for-profit organizations, publishing houses and LSPs. I specialize in environmental issues, agriculture, agricultural technology, food & drink, medical texts and research (especially nutrition and endocrinology), botany, biology, cosmetics, and international organizations. I seek to broaden my horizons by working together with clients as prestigious and enthusiastic as my current clients. I finished University in 1999 and since then I have always worked in the translation field. I have good work relationships with some major global translation companies and I am used to working with a variety of offline and online CAT tools.
