I have specialized in IT (Project/Website/Mobile Gaming) field. Worked for major companies, providing translation for various products/platforms. I have interest in sports (non-gambling), marketing, business, religion and movies.

I am a native of Indonesian writing to apply for the open position of English to Indonesian (vv) and English to Javanese (vv) translator. I hold a Master’s degree in English Language Teaching (ELT) and have worked professionally in the area of education and translation fields for the past five years. I translate in some specializations such as education, engineering, e-learning, e-commerce, IT, travel and tourism. Additionally, I also provide localization, subtitling, and transcription services.

I started as a freelance translator in 2017, started by translating Japanese novels, songs, works, etc. Mostly focusing on novels, songs, and articles in EN-JP/ID.

I have a Master of Science degree in Molecular Mechanism of Disease (Molecular Biology) from Radboud University Netherland, Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy, and a diploma in pharmacist profession (apothecary program). Regarding credentials, I am a full member of Association of Indonesian Translators. And currently, I am studying to get my ASc degree in Computer Science. From 2010 to 2015, I worked for a university textbook publisher, EGC Medical Publisher, in Indonesia. I have followed a formal training for editors. I was involved in the translation, editing, and proofreading of university textbooks in the fields of pharmaceutical, medical, biology, etc. ​I have been translating various medical device documentations (IFUs, manuals, etc.), pharma market researches, and general company documents since 2015. I am a full time freelance translator, currently living in East Java, Indonesia, holding an associate degree of English literature and linguistics (with GPA: 3.96 out of 4) and Master’s Degree in English teaching and learning (with GPA: 3.69 out of 4), member of Certified PRO Network (a certified international translator network), a Google Certified Translator (completed SLP training held by Google) and an HPI Certified Translator (certified by the Association of Indonesian Translators in 2015) and intensely working on a wide range of translation and localization projects since 2006. Every project is special to me; regardless of the volume! I usually spend my time researching the languages, writing language related articles, blogging and playing around with some CAT (Computer Aided Translation) Tools.

I worked as a translator after 10 years of working in the engineering field. Engineering, science, and medical are the main subject of translation, while marketing, creative translations, games, technology, and websites are my secondary subjects of translation. Understanding the content, the targetted reader, and the language style is my way of translation.

I'm a web developer at an advertising agency. Sometimes I accept freelance web development and translation jobs. I'm very interested in everything related to web especially PHP, MySQL, CSS, jQuery.

Upon graduation from Bina Nusantara University in 2009, I directly worked for Business Advisory Indonesia until my resignation in 2015 as an Assistant Managing Editor. From 2016 to 2019, I worked at PT. Legal Centric Indonesia with the last position as the Head of Translation Division. In addition to my formal working experience as a translator/editor, I also provided translation services for some companies and organizations. Together with my friends, I founded ASJ Translation in 2017. I passed the Indonesian Translators’ Qualification Examination held by the Professional Certification Agency of University of Indonesia in 2021 for the English-Indonesian language pair. On 5 October 2022, I took an oath as a sworn translator administered by the Directorate General of Legal Administrative Affairs. I also took the Assessment of Sworn Translators for Professionals in 2022 for the Indonesian-English language pair in order to complete my qualifications.
