In June 2022, I graduated from Istanbul University, Department of German Translation and Interpreting. I have been professionally providing translation services to many translation companies and offices for 1 year. I specialize in technical, legal and medical translations.

I am a very happy, optimistic and outgoing person. I have a lovely family and with my parents I moved to Spain when I was 11 years young. I returned to Germany in two occasions to finish my baccalaureate and to gain work experience, but my initial schooling years were in Spain. I love nature and animals, at home we have dogs and cats. My working life has been mostly in the financial world with over 15 years experience, having achieved also directing my own branch and team of 5. I left the banking industry to dedicate myself to my passion, languages and am loving it! In addition to this I do networking events for different companies and give their presentations and speeches, to help in their international developments. I discovered my love for languages in young years, always wanted to know what other are saying. I am a native German and soon learned English, Spanish and French. As I lived in Spain since I am 11 years old, I consider my Spanish level as bilingual.

I grew up in Germany and have visited my huge American family in the US State Ohio every year for a month, give or take. I have been fluent in English since 1989. I have worked for a medical device producer for over a total of 3 years, translating regulations and processes required by the ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820. I have spent a month going over the new MDSAP guideline. I studied the subjects German and English to teach it at the Gymnasium, which is the equivalent to an academic high school. I will go back to teaching in February, but since I miss working with languages in a more direct way, I want to keep translating different projects. I am also a major modern literature fan and would not mind translating (short) stories, either.

As a native German speaker, M.A. (English literature, linguistics and German linguistics) and with a 1. Staatsexamen for teaching English and German at Grammar schools in Bavaria and with about 17 years translating and proofreading experience, I'm sure I will meet your requirements. I began working as a freelance translator during my master studies at the University of Vienna in 2013. During this period I mostly did subtitling jobs for the Austrian Film Museum in Vienna. After my graduation in January 2015 I began to work with several translation agencies, specialising in tourism, arts and culture, legal texts, website translation, marketing and cosmetics.

I hold a B.A. (Languages) degree, two Project Management diplomas and a certificate in html/css and web design, as well as a TEFL diploma, amongst others. I have excellent time management skills, outstanding attention to detail and a highly professional work ethic. ​I have been editing and proofreading university theses, novel and literature manuscripts, newsletter and other publications on a freelance basis since 2002.
